Distance Covered:

Woke up and it was pissing it down outside with no wind so thought the day was going to be another right off. Started to carry on watching Als DVD collection and then from nowhere the wind was a good 25 knots outside and it had stopped raining so we ventured of to the seafront to check out conditions.

It didn't look to bad and it was gusting up to 25knots. I went round the carpark and rigged up Als old Tushgham storm 5.4 sail whilst he was already out on his 5m and 86l board.

I went out and my first 2 runs were pretty good perfectly powered up. Then the wind died for a good half or so and then picked up again and Al was back out with his 5.7 sail motoring along. Again there were a few lulls in the wind but conditions weren't too bad and I got a few nice little jumps in out the back, The currents were pretty strong in the surf which killed the wind so waveriding in wasn't a problem but trynna get back out sometimes was. Not a bad session in all and worthy of 4 stars fro me as its very rare when I get to go out with waves about.
